Misen – 2017,18,19
Creating space in a kitchen full of heritage brands, Misen is making cooking more accessible for old and young cooks alike.
Using my experience building and developing brands I came aboard Misen as an early hire to help reinforce their D2C brand as the leading provider of high quality kitchenware.
My first task was isolating user experience issues that lead to a high bounce rate and discovering creative solutions to keep the user more engaged. This research led to a full site redesign, taking working elements from the old site and combining them with new product, collections, and landing pages. This along with a comprehensive email flow overhaul, conversion rate jumped over 50%.
From here I was able to redesign product packaging, design award-winning crowdfunding campaigns, direct multiple photoshoots, as well as other design achievements that led to all time success in the startup's history.
