Vision – 2020
Using my experience with building brand identities and mobile products I wanted to explore the visual structure of a personal and B2B security company that is 100% user-centered.
A common issue with B2B software is the lack of a human element. By designing from the smallest economic user up, I discovered a process that retained clean aesthetic design yet had an intimate and personal look and feel.
The home security space has seen exponential growth in the past 5 years with companies like Ring, Google Nest, Eufy, and Arlo making up the majority of the market. I conducted research into their interfaces and conceptualized alternative solutions to user flows. Based on this research I was able to develop a comprehensive design system that can be scaled from home to business monitoring.
